National Accountability Bureau (NAB), on Wednesday, gave a higher position to 57 officers, including those who investigated the infamous Panama scandal and fake accounts mega scam. In a notification, NAB Chairman Justice (retd) Javaid Iqbal announced the promotions of 57 assistant directors to the post of deputy directors. Those who were elevated include Syed Hasan Naqvi, Adnan Butt, Imran Dogar, Hasan Noor, Umair Rathore, Syeda Maleeha Shabbir, Sehrish Ghulam, Zawar Warraich among others. The promotions were said to be given as a reward for the officers’ meritorious performances.
