Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani on Tuesday directed the Senate Secretariat to take initiatives to engage the youth from the Federating Units, particularly from the far flung areas of the country. In this regard he directed the Secretariat to organize a youth Conference in order to engage the youth of Balochistan to begin with. He made these comments while holding a meeting with the senior management of the Senate Secretariat. He stressed the need to ensure that youth from every district of the Province is represented and the gender parity is observed. Chairman Senate also directed the Secretariat to work toward the enhancement of linkages between the Senate of Pakistan and the Provincial Assemblies. He stressed the need for creation of knowledge and experience sharing platforms to promote dialogue between the Provinces and the Senate of Pakistan, being a House of Federation. He directed the Secretariat to explore possible avenues in this regard.
