Anti Narcotics Force Academy is playing a key significant role as a centre for excellence for Drug Law Enforcement training in the region.
Recently, a 2nd badge of foreign trainees, officers from Kuwaiti Drug Law Enforcement Agency received counter-narcotics training at this institution. Previously, similar training was also imparted to 4 Maldivian officers and 6 Kuwaiti officers. This training initiative is contributing very effectively in strengthening counter-narcotics relations not only within the region but also at international and global level.
Director General Anti Narcotics Force Pakistan Major General Muhammad Arif Malik expressed that the scope of this training will be extended to various other friendly countries so that war against drugs is fought effectively at all ends.
The initiative of Pakistan to establish a centre for excellence in drug law enforcement training is being appreciated widely by United Nations, other international organizations and a lot of countries.
