Sarfaraz and Co have trashed Hong Kong in their first match of the Asia Cup. Hong Kong elected to bat after winning the toss but their batting line turned out to be a wall of sand in front of Pakistan’s bowling line up.
Openers gave a decent start but Shadab Khan did a stunning run out to send Nizakat Khan back to pavilion and after than it was a matter of minutes that all of their team was resting back in pavilion.
An amazing display of bowling and fielding from Pakistan was the reason that they dominated the match from the beginning.

Hong Kong was restricted to 116. Zaman and Haq also provided a fabulous start but Zaman was sent back to pavilion by Ehsan Khan. He scored 24 on 27 balls with the help of two fours and one six. Babar Azam came one-down and played a blistering knock scoring 33 on 36 balls with the help of 3 fours and one six. Ehsan Khan was also able to get rid of him. Imam on the other hand stood firm and scored a half century, unbeaten.
Usman khan was awarded the man of the match award because of his outstanding bowling figures of 3 for 19.
Pakistan will play their next match against Indian on 19 September, Wednesday.
