ATTOCK: Military veteran Maqbool Hussain, who served the 1965 war, will be laid to rest today with full military honours.
Hussain passed away at CMH Attock on Tuesday.
His funeral prayers are scheduled to be offered at AK Centre Attock at 12:30 pm and at Chaklala airbase at2:30 pm.
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan and Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa will attend Hussain’s funeral prayers at Chaklala airbase.

After the funeral prayers, the war veteran will be laid to rest in his native village of Sudhnoti in Azad Kashmir.
The warrior and survivor of Indo-Pak 1965 war, Sepoy Maqbool Hussain was imprisoned by the Indian Army and spent 40 years of his life in captivity. Hussain was released in 2005.
He was a recipient of Sitara-e-Jurrat.
