Earlier this week, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Khursheed Shah had claimed that the total cost for Imran twice-a-day travel from Bani Gala to PM House via a helicopter was Rs300,000.
Responding to Khursheed’s claim, Fawad countered that the PPP leader’s calculations were over the top and that PM Imran’s helicopter usage cost was Rs50/km.
This revelation was made in a heated exchange over Punjab’s chief minister’s usage of a private jet to travel with his family to Islamabad.
The interviewer interjected shortly afterwards, casting light on this revelation. Chaudhry went on to elaborate on the right of the PM Imran to utilize all the perks offered to his office.
