The Meteorological Department has predicted that there are chances of sighting of Eid-ul-Fitr moon in the country on April 9. According to the Department of Meteorology, the birth of the new moon will take place on April 8 at 11:21pm, while on April 9, the age of the moon will be 19 to 20 hours. The Meteorological Department said that the duration of moon sighting after sunset will be more than 50 minutes, due to which there are chances of moon sighting of Eid-ul-Fitr on April 9. The meteorological department added that on April 9, the forecast is likely to remain clear in most parts of the country, but the forecast may be cloudy in the northern areas.
