The US Embassy in Islamabad has asked the Americans and lawful permanent residents (LPRs), who are in Pakistan and want to go back to the US, to register themselves on Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) portal as a special flight will depart from Islamabad for O’Hare International Airport Chicago on June 13.
In a tweet on Sunday, the embassy asked Americans and LPRs who are interested to take this flight from Pakistan to register with PIA on https://happilypia.com/pas. The embassy also asked the Americans and LPRs, whose passports have been expired, to request for an expedited appointment by emailing at acsislamabad@state.gov.
The government of Pakistan has announced that a special PIA flight will depart from Islamabad directly for O’Hare International Airport Chicago on 13th of this month carrying stranded US citizens/permanent residents.
A special flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) for repatriation of stranded Pakistanis will depart from O’Hare International Airport, Chicago, for Islamabad on June 14.
This will be the sixth special flight from the United States in this regard.
Stranded Pakistanis registered with the Embassy of Pakistan Washington DC and its consulates in the US will be accommodated on the flight. Those not already registered are encouraged to do so immediately.
