Gujranwala City Secretary of Information Sagheer Butt, Vice President Rana Haneef, Malik Zulfikar and Chaudhary Ishaq Mehar called the PIA plane crash a very tragic incident, and offered their condolences to the plane workers and families of the deceased passengers.
They added that may Allah shower His mercy and forgave us in this time of crisis. They said our country is already surrounded by a lot of problems — first coronavirus, then locusts attack and now the loss of important lives in this plane crash. There is a huge monetary loss in cotton, mango, watermelon and wheat crops. And due to this peasants are suffering a lot. Agriculture is the backbone of Pakistan’s economy which is suffering a lot nowadays. The government must arrange for spray in affected areas to prevent more harm. And now negligence of public servants and silence of government is destroying the society. The government must take immediate measures with the help of public.
