The platelet count of former president Asif Ali Zardari is also low, according to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) spokesperson. PIMS spokesperson Waseem Khawaja told a private TV channel that Zardari’s platelet count is low but he is out of danger. He said Zardari is being taken care of at PIMS. “Zardari is also suffering from bladder pain,” he said. “There is a urologist and a pathologist in the medical board formed to treat the former president,” he added. PPP’s Saeed Ghani warned the government on Saturday that if anything happened to Zardari or Nawaz Sharif, the party will hold the prime minister responsible. Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpur were arrested by NAB a few months ago for their alleged involvement in the fake bank accounts scandal.
