Punjab Assembly Speaker Ch Pervaiz Elahi while talking to the media along with Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad on Saturday said that they had supported Chief Minister Usman Buzdar earlier, “we are with him today also and will continue supporting him in the future as well”. Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said that India could take advantage of Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s march and indulge in skirmishes, whereas Shehbaz Sharif should not become ‘Double Shah’, he will be exposed by October 23, 24. Earlier, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad called on Pakistan Muslim League (PML) President and former prime minister Ch Shujaat Hussain and Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch Pervaiz Elahi at their residence on Saturday and exchanged views regarding political situation and Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s October march. On this occasion Federal Housing Minister Tariq Bashir Cheema, Ch Sabahat Elahi, Ch Shafay Hussain, Rana Khalid and other leaders were also present. Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said that health of Ch Shujaat Hussain is Masha-Allah much better than before. Responding to questions from the media, Pervaiz Elahi said that our house is Sheikh Rasheed’s own house. Praising Sheikh Rasheed’s political wisdom, he also mentioned UDF and 1977 movement and said that we appreciate his wisdom. Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad said that Ch Shujaat Hussain is like my brother, I used to refer to his mother as “Maa Ji” (mother). “Likewise Ch Pervaiz Elahi is also my brother and Chaudhry brother have looked after me in good and bad times and always spoke well about me.”
