Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Sunday performed Umrah on a visit to Saudi Arabia, Radio Pakistan reported. The doors of the Holy Kaaba were opened for the army chief during his visit. COAS Bajwa prayed for the peace, stability and prosperity of the nation. The visit came after the occasion of Eidul Fitr. Gen Bajwa had made his visit to Saudi Arabia in December 2016. The three-day official trip was also the army chief’s first ever official visit abroad since his appointment as COAS.
