Commenting on the Iftar dinner of the opposition parties, Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed on Monday said all the thieves had gathered under one roof to defend their corruption. Talking to a private news channel, the minister expressed confidence that the country would come out of economic crisis under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Referring to the crises which the country was passing through, he said they would affect the opposition more than the government.
Holding the past rulers responsible for the increasing inflation, he said the incumbent government was compelled to take unpopular decisions for the revival of the economy.
“Masses are suffering due to wrongdoings of the past regimes,” he said, and hoped that situation would improve in the coming three to four months.
It may be noted that Rasheed had earlier said that politics of the Zardari and the Sharif family had ended, and that they had no future in the country’s politics.
Earlier, the opposition parties, after the Iftar dinner hosted by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the federal capital, had announced that every party would separately protest against the government after Eid.
