Armed man attacked house of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MPA Bilal Warraich here Sunday-Monday midnight in which he survived but his close friend Umair Asghar was killed. According to MPA Bilal Warraich, a gunman identified as Haider Gujar on behest of his opponents opened fire at his house.
He said that fortunately he survived in the attack as he had left the room few minutes before firing but his friend Umair Asghar was killed. The attacker fled the scene after committing the crime. Police reached the house of Bilal Warraich after the firing incident and started investigation.
Meanwhile, CM Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar condemning the incident has sought a report from RPO Faisalabad. He also directed to arrested the culprit involved in firing.
