Cloth worth millions of rupees was reduced to ashes when a massive fire swept through a looms factory in Faisalabad on Monday morning.
According to fire-brigade personnel, the blaze was caused by an electricity short-circuit in Shamsabad area of Faisalabad. The fire-fighters managed to bring the fire under control after an operation which lasted for several hours. No loss of life or injured was reported in the incident.
