DIAMER: The district and sessions judge’s vehicle attacked on Sunday in Daryal area of Diamer, Gilgit-Baltistan (GB).
According to the police, “Assailants fired at district and sessions judge Malik Inayat’s vehicle.”
“The judge and his family are safe and sound,” the police added.
Judge Inayat and family were heading towards the funeral of police official Arif Hussain, who was martyred in an operation on Saturday.

An operation was launched against the extremists who destroyed government schools of the valley.
The operation is still underway and at least 31 suspects have been arrested so far. As soon as the operation started, the people who were in favour of terrorists attacked the police station and surrounded it.
After the exchange of fire, police became successful in dispersing the enraged extremists.
However, the extremists have blocked the roads which are turning the situation even worst.
