KARACHI: Unidentified attackers raped a 19-year-old girl and later killed her in Karachi’s sector 11 locality on Monday night.
The assailants also injured her brother in the incident.
According to the police, the attackers rushed into the girl’s house and assaulted her.
Reports on the incident claimed that the victim’s mother was at work when this gruesome attack happened.
Moreover, the girl and her brother’s cellphones were also missing after the incident.
Police have arrested eight suspects including her father and the owner of the house where the family lived. The victim’s parents had been divorced for the past 13 years.
The girl’s mother has registered a complaint against her daughter’s murder.
Further investigations are currently under way.
