LAHORE: Pakistan cricket team pacer Muhammad Amir was on Tuesday granted visa to feature in the Test series against Ireland and England in the United Kingdom.
Earlier on Sunday, the national team departed for the UK, while pacer Amir did not accompany the team due to visa issues.
According to sources, Amir has applied for British nationality which is why there was a delay in issuance of the visa, while Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) sources confirmed that Amir will leave for the UK on Wednesday.
Pakistan will begin the UK tour on May 11 when they face Ireland in the only Test match against them.
