BAHAWALPUR: Regional Police Officer (RPO) Waseem Ahmed Khan ordered police officers to abandon delaying tactics in the provision of justice to the people.
As a response to the issues of complainants, Khan asserted that such officers intensify the problems of the general public.
“The police department does not need such officers,” he said.
Subsequently, the RPO issued orders to District Police Officer (DPO) of Bahawalnagar to resolve the issues of complainants namely Muhammad Jhangir and Allah Rakha. Other complaints were forwarded to superintendent of police (SP) of Bahawalpur.
ADSJ visits central jail
Additional District and Sessions Judge Arif Hameed Sheikh on Monday visited Borstal Institution and Juvenile Jail situated near Fareed Gate in Bahawalpur.
He inspected kitchen, hospital, Johar Hall, Iqbal Hall and table tennis room. On the complaints of inmate children, he ordered authorities to resolve the issues.
