LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) disgruntled leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Saturday said that he has never requested and that he never will request the party for a ticket.
Responding to Maryam Nawaz’s statement over awarding him a ticket or not in the general elections 2018, Nisar said that he never has and never will request for a ticket.
“In my 35-year political career, I have never requested anyone to present me with a party ticket and I never will. I have faith in God and trust in the people of the constituency, who have been supporting me since 1985,” Nisar said.
He added that “it seems as if Pakistan’s biggest problem of late is the decision to hand me a party ticket or not.” Nisar added that he has not requested anyone for a party ticket, then why, he continued, is a statement regarding the matter issued every other day.
