QUETTA: Security forces have arrested six terrorists during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in different areas of Balochistan, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.
The terrorists were involved in target killing of polio workers and police personnel, it stated.
The IBOs were conducted in Chaman, Saryab and Pishin areas of Balochistan.
A cache of arms and ammunition including explosives, detonators, rockets, mines and improvised explosive device (IEDs) were also recovered.
Security forces have been conduction the IBOs in different areas of the province as a part of Operation Radd-ul-Fassad launched to eliminate terrorism from the country.
