At least two terrorists were killed and a Frontier Corps (FC) man embraced martyrdom in an exchange of fire during intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in the province on Wednesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), IBOs were carried out in Pinsin Kaur, Dasht, Turbat and Dera Bugti as part of the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fassad. A huge cache of arms and ammunition was recovered from hideouts.
On March 30, at least six suspected terrorists and an alleged suicide bomber were arrested when the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and the Intelligence Bureau (IB) foiled a major terrorist plot during a joint operation in Lahore.
