SARAI ALAMGIR: Police arrested a man for allegedly killing his four children with an axe in Sarai Alamgir on Sunday.
Police sources confirmed that the forces have arrested a man, identified as Ayub from Saeen Jummah Dera in Sarai Alamgir, for allegedly murdering his children.
The security officials have also recovered the axe used in committing the murder from the suspect.
It was also said that there is a possibility that Ayub is an individual with suspected mental illness. Police has registered a case against Ayub, while investigations have also been initiated.
The slain were identified as 12-year-old Amina, 10-year-old Nadia, 8-year-old Nadia and three-year-old Zeeshan.
