KHAIRPUR: Institute of English Languages and Literature organised closing ceremony of 3-day training workshop on ‘Research Methodology’ in collaboration with Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan on Tuesday. Dean, Faculty of Arts and Languages, Prof Dr Muhammad Yousuf Khushk and Dr Zulfiqar Ali Shah, Director of Institute, Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur were of the view that the varsity has been organizing such events since its inception but this workshop was an excellent leap in the field of research. The university has made remarkable progress in the area of research. Hassan Shaikh, Course Coordinator deserves applause for arranging this academic workshop successfully. They thanked the HEC for allocating this workshop to SALU. Yousuf deserves to be honoured for his efforts and guidance in process of workshop. This three days training has been a golden opportunity for researches to equip themselves in the domain of research. Earlier, Zubair Ahmed Chacher, Lecturer of IBA Community College Khairpur, Abdul Rasheed Soomro, Lecturer Government of Pakistan Degree College Khairpur and Ali Bux Bozdar, Lecturer Government Elementary College for (Men) Sukkur also spoke on the occasion. The certificates were also awarded to participants and cultural gifts of Ajraks were presented to Muhammad Ibrahim Khokhar, Lecturer, IELL, and Paras Niaz Khaskheli, Lecturer IELL and Abdul Rasheed Soomro and others for their continuous efforts in success of the event. The 3rd day of conclusion of literature festival Khairpur was held at Gymkhana Club Khairpur organised by Muhammad Ali Sahitto, Amar Iqbal, Qurban Mangi of Created Forum and Popat Publication Khairpur. Poets, writers, scholars including Taj Joyo, Ayaz Gul, Ali Gul, Adul Soomro, Rasool Memon, Akhtar, Dargahi, Paras Hameed, Mumtaz Bukhari, Naz Sanai, Qadeer Ansari, Mazhar Abro, Akash Amerr, Hafeez Bagi, Sajjad Mirani, Manzoor Khamoosh, Touqeer Shah, Manzoor Larik, Darya Khan Shambani, Nisha Kanwal, Ruksana Mirani, Kaleemullah Shaikh, Azad Ansari, Roshan Shaikh, Zameer Lashari, Hashim Bhatti, Asif Nizamsni and others highlighted literature and its impact on society.
