ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s son Hussain Nawaz on Tuesday appeared before the Panama Papers Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for the sixth time in over a month.
Hussain Nawaz waved at the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) faithful as a token of appreciation while arriving at the Federal Judiciary Academy.
The PM’s son fetched all the necessary documents along with him to present before the team, said the sources. The JIT probing Sharif family’s offshore assets in Panama Papers case will produce its decisional report to Supreme Court (SC) on July 10.
Earlier on Monday, Hussain’s brother Hassan Nawaz accompanied by Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar answered questions presented by the JIT while PM’s daughter Mayam Nawaz is expected to appear before the JIT on Wednesday.
Hassan Nawaz while speaking to the media subsequent to his third appearance before JIT said that he has responded to all the questions asked by the team. He further added that the court proceedings have ended while investigation continues.
