ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday tweeted, “Whether SC investigates or forms JIT in my case, here is my challenge , whatever they want to do, they will come to only one conclusion and that is I never have done anything illegal, nor have I ever been served a tax notice.”
Kaptaan added, “People think I am playing with fire and might be disqualified, but they must know one thing it will be a small price to pay to rid Pakistan of corruption mafias’ God Father.”
He held he bought the London flat in 1983 and paid tax on it, sold it in 2003 and brought the money back through legit banking channels and he used the same money to buy Bani Gala land.
The skipper said that he paid tax in the UK for 20 years and he is taxpayer in Pakistan since 1981 and he never has been served a tax notice. The PTI chief predicted that the JIT will catch false evidence on the matter of Nawaz Sharif’s tax evasion, money laundering and Qatari letter.
