KHANEWAL/PESHAWAR: At least four alleged terrorists were killed while three others fled an operation conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in Khanewal.
According to media reports, the CTD conducted an operation near Khekri stop and killed four alleged terrorists while three others managed to escape from the scene.
The dead two were identified as Usman Basra and Abdul Rehman and were shifted to hospital for identification. 10kg explosives, two grenades and others weapons were seized from them.
Separately, the CTD carried out a search operation in Swat and apprehended a ‘terrorist’.
According to media reports, the CTD nabbed Alif Gul from Matta.
The suspect was involved in carrying out attacks on security forces in 2009 as a result of which an army soldier was martyred.
The suspect was shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
