ISLAMABAD: Speaker of the Parliament of Kyrgyz Republic Chynybai A Tursunbekov will reach Pakistan on March 13.
National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq had invited him for promoting bilateral parliamentary exchange and supplementing government-to-government interaction.
The delegation will be received by Deputy Speaker National Assembly Murtaza Abbasi at Benazir Bhutto International Airport.
During the three-day visit, the delegation will call on Nawaz Sharif, Mamnoon Hussain, Raza Rabbani, Ayaz Sadiq and Khawaja Asif.
Both speakers will also sign a memorandum of understanding. Matters pertaining to enhance cooperation between the National Assembly of Pakistan and Kyrgyz Parliament and possibilities of economic cooperation between both the countries will be discussed.
Tursunbekov will also address members of Pak-Kyrgyz Friendship Group.
The visit of the Kyrgyz Parliamentary delegation is intended to inject a new vitality into the bilateral Parliamentary linkages and supplement the endeavors of government in broadening and deepening bilateral ties with Kyrgyz.
Pakistan and Central Asian states share economic interests. Pakistan is determined to seek deeper integration with the Central Asian Republics in areas of energy, trade and regional stability.
On the other hand Pakistan provides landlocked Central Asian states the closest warm water routes for trade.
