ISLAMABAD: Over 400 youth from the Federally Administered Tribal Area (FATA) would receive training under the third phase of the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Programme.
The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) spokesperson told media on Saturday that the main purpose of these training programmes was to enable the youth for self-employment.
She said that the third phase of the vocational training would be carried out in different training centres of NACTTC in FATA. She added that NAVTTC was offering training in dress making, fashion designing, plumbing, and was also giving diplomas in Information Technology, electronics, accounting, book keeping, billing, and civil and quantity surveying.
The spokesperson indicated that sports and other healthy activities might be included for the trainees to boost their morale. She also informed that under this programme, training was also being imparted to the youth of Balochistan and far flung areas.
