KARACHI: Rangers conducted a raid on Friday and recovered a huge cache of arms from a house in Old Golimar area of the metropolis.
According to Rangers spokesman, the arms and munitions recovered from the house includes nine SMGs, two repeaters, one 32-bore pistols, 11 9MM pistols, nine 30-bore pistols, one airgun, one 30-bore mouser, 76 hand grenades, a bomb, detonators and at least 5,000 bullets.
The paramilitary force also recovered 841kg hashish, 122 kilograms of heroin and 480 bottles of liquor from the house.
Sources said that the arms were used to carry out target killing and terror attacks in the city asthe house belongs to a gang-war accused, Riyasat.
