KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is all set to lead an anti-government drive.
In a statement issued on social media, Bilawal stated that the implementation committee will prepare and present a report over the four demands at the Central Executive Committee meeting (CEC) which is to be held on December 27.
He further said that in case of government’s failure to accept the four demands, PPP will protest in the parliament and even on the streets.
The implementation committee comprises of former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani, Senator Sherry Rehman, Senator Farhatullah Babar, Senator Sardar Fateh Mohammad, Mohammad Hasni, and Qamar Zaman Kaira.
It is pertinent to mention that the PPP chairman presented four demands during his speech at Karsaz on October 17.
The four demands presented by Bilawal were, formation of parliamentary committee on national security, appointment of a foreign minister immediately, implementation of Asif Zardari’s CPEC resolution and approval of PPP’s panama bill in the assembly.
