ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah on Wednesday said all issues, including Panama leaks, should be resolved in parliament.
“On Panama leaks we have handed over our beard to someone else. We want to sort out all problems, including Panama leaks in parliament. Parliament is proper forum to resolve the issues of public interest,” he told reporters.
He added, “We don’t want war. Kashmir issue [should] be resolved as per will of people of Kashmir. The rulers should give a clear policy on Kashmir issue. Whenever any dictator came he practised dictatorial diplomacy, he said. PPP on the other hand has raised voice for Kashmir on every forum.”
Volatile policy of Pakistan has caused harm to the Kashmir cause, he said. Absence of a foreign minister is affecting the Kashmir issue at international level, he remarked.
“Had there been a permanent foreign minister of ours we would not have suffered humiliation in India,” he added.
He underlined that 4 points presented by the PPP are not meant for personal or political gains. Why the rulers are hesitating in accepting PPP demands?” he questioned.
