ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) would begin scrutinizing the assets of members of the Senate, sources said.
Once the process of scrutinizing assets of the senate ends, they would take on members of the national and provincial assemblies, sources in the ECP revealed. Before scrutinizing their assets, they would divided into four categories, including agriculture, real estate, business and offshore investments.
ECP would take help from the State Bank, Excise and Taxation Department and Federal Board of Revenue.
