The government decided to abolish the National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) for facilitating the Pakistani expatriates in visiting Pakistan, according to the spokesman of Ministry of Overseas Pakistani (MOP).
The decision was made after Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Overseas Pakistan is Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari submitted his recommendations. He said that the decision had been approved by PM Imran Khan. “Now overseas Pakistani can travel to Pakistan without visa”, he added.
