The Punjab government has decided to replace Inspector General of Police (IGP) Rao Sardar Ali Khan following his apology and request to continue his position.
It has been learned that the Punjab government is examining the names of prominent police officers for the position of IGP, including AD Khawaja, Faisal Shahkar, and Inam Ghani.
According to sources, the new Punjab IGP can be posted today (Friday).
