Ranra Welfare Organization distributed food package among the deserving people on Monday.
In this connection a simple but impressive gathering was arranged in Government High School, Zentara that was attended by tribal elder, Malik Darya Khan Afridi as chief guest beside numbers of civil society and locals.
Chairman of the organization Inamullah Afridi, press sectary Aminul Haq Afridi and other members of the cabinet were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest said that it was the good omen of the organization to extend support to the needy ones.
He said that on one hand it removed sense of deprivation among the poor on the other hand such kind activity persuaded other prosperous to spent their wealth on the welfare of the underprivileged.
He appreciated the wellbeing act of the organization and urged to carry on their well-being works in the area.
At the end the food package, comprising 13 items including sugar, pulses, rice, gram flour, noodles, ghee, syrup, biscuits and salt were given to 51 orphans, poor and the deserving ones of the area.
