Several applications have been received from many countries filed by overseas Pakistanis to Federal Ombudsman Secretariat seeking indulgence and help for transportation of dead bodies of Pakistanis who died in a couple of days.
In these applications request has been made to help Pakistanis by Government of Pakistan as they want to bury their relatives in Pakistan. Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar Senior Advisor and Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis in Federal Ombudsman Secretariat confirmed that number of applications from many countries have been filed by Overseas Pakistanis for transportation of dead bodies from there to Pakistan.
According to Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis, applications are received include from Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Bosnia. Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar Senior Advisor and Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis Federal Ombudsman has issued notices on these complaints for report to Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis.
