A special PIA flight has brought 219 stranded Pakistanis back to the country from Indonesia on Saturday.
Ambassador Abdul Salik Khan bade farewell to the Pakistani nationals at the airport in Jakarta for Karachi, said a press statement issued here.
Around 450 Pakistanis were stranded in different parts of Indonesia due to flight cancellations and lockdown amid coronavirus pandemic. The Embassy of Pakistan Jakarta provided accommodation, three times meal, protective masks, and sanitizers to the destitute Pakistanis during the past three weeks. The embassy is in touch with relevant authorities for repatriation of remaining Pakistani nationals.
