Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has called a meeting of the All-Party Advisory Committee to curb the spread of the coronavirus. The meeting of the all parties advisory committee will be conducted via video-link on April 10 and it will be convened by the Speaker himself. Leaders from Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Pakistan People’s Party and independent parliamentarians will take part in the meeting. The 11 members committee will examine the measures for minimizing the impacts of Corona and will also deliberate in detail on the measures taken by the government for preventing spreading of Corona Virus and the impacts created thereof on the daily requirements of the people and economic situation. In a statement by Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, he said that fulfilling the economic needs of the people should be the foremost priority of the government and all political parties should avoid blame game and slinging mud at each other in this sensitive time.meeting.
