Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that Prime Minsiter Imran Khan should resign as his incompetency has put the country into lockdown.
She said the incumbent government should not instigate people with their provocative speeches. “PM Imran should tender the resignation as he does not have any other option,” she added.
The PML-N spokesperson said that the entire nation demands Imran Khan’s resignation and he should not stand against the public opinion and create further crisis. She asserted that the matter has gone beyond the lies, propaganda, misleading statements and speeches. She said Imran Khan will be responsible if outrage spreads due the government’s ‘foolishness’.
PPP’s Aitzaz Ahsan says Fazl’s statement about arresting PM is unconstitutional
Meanwhile, senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Barrister Aitzaz Ahsan has said statements like arrest of prime minister by some groups is unconstitutional. He questioned who allowed companions of Maulana Fazlur Rehman to arrest prime minister.
Aitzaz said he disagrees with the statement of JUI-F chief and that how can Maulana make such decisions without consulting the Rehbar Committee. He said companions of Maulana are not letting women come in the sit-in. He said how governments can run if such groups make statements of arresting PM from home. He said JUI-F chief is planning to create instability and anarchy in the country, adding that criticizing institutions is not good.
