HYDERABAD: Three days after the Liaquatpur incident, at least 50 persons from Mirpurkhas and Umerkot districts are still reportedly missing. Mirpurkhas Deputy Commissioner Syed Attaullah Shah Bukhari arranged transport for 16 persons who traveled by road on Saturday to Rahimyar Khan to provide their DNA samples.
Numerous families headed out alone to Rahimyar Khan on Thursday and Friday. They have been educated that the DNA test report will be shared following seven days.
Authority sources in the DC office affirmed that 45 people from Mirpurkhas are as yet absent while informal sources put the figure at 60.
