A student of Class 9 died due to alleged police torture on Friday. His heirs held a protest against the incident, demanding the Chief Minister to take notice.
The heirs alleged that police barged into their house some three days earlier and arrested their three children without assigning any reason.
They said that the police demanded huge amount as a bribe for the release of their children which was not possible for them to pay after which they kept the children under detention.
The heirs alleged that it has been learnt that Noubahar, a student of 9th class died of brutal torture of police and they (police) were not handing over body to them.
They demanded the Chief Minister Usman Buzdar to take notice of the incident, direct to hand over body to them besides strict action against the cops involved in illegal detention and responsible for death of the student.
