Khanewal: Police reported that a family based in Khanewal poured a strong adhesive known as cyanoacrylate on the eyes of their ex-son-in-law after he divorced their daughter.
The man divorced his wife a few days after a domestic dispute took place between them in Chak Number 87/10-R. He was taken to the District Headquarter (DHQ) hospital for treatment.
Upon being asked why he divorced his wife, the man admitted to doing so over a conflict between the two. As a response, the woman’s family invited him to their house to discuss the returning of dowry but instead trapped him and poured the local cyanoacrylate adhesive on his eyes.
Police reported that the suspects had fled, and raids are being conducted to search for them.
