More HIV positive cases continue to surface in Ratodero. On Wednesday, as many as 21 HIV positive cases were detected. A total of 465 patients were screened at the Blood Screening Camp established in Taluka Headquarter Hospital, Ratodero.
Screening camps were also established at Banguldero and Naundero where 77 and 132 people were also tested respectively. However, none of them tested positive for the disease. According to the Sindh AIDS Control Programme, out of the 21,554 people tested so far, 638 have been diagnosed with HIV, including 522 children.
