An arts exhibition will be held in Punjab University’s Main Hall, Allama Iqbal Campus under auspices of Society of Art and Design, after Friday Prayers at 5:30 pm. The exhibition is arranged by Dr Shahid Manzoor, Principal of Fine Art Department and organized by Nyla Amir.
According to details, this art exhibition consists of three parts presenting evolution of art in Pakistan. First part shows artwork from 1940 to 1960, bearing artwork of Anna Molka Ahmed, Naseem Hafeez Qazi, Collin David, Anwar Afzal and Khalid Iqbal. Second part consists of art work belong to artists from two decades i.e. 1960-1980. Third portion is bearing artwork from different artists from 1990 to date. “This single exhibition will provide our visitors about art evolution at a one place and art-lover will enjoy this paintings’ history”, said Dr Sahida Manzoor, and Nyla Amir, Principal and organizer of this exhibition respectively.
