KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui on Friday voiced concerns over ‘not getting permission to hold rallies in MirpurKhas, Sukkur and Hyderabad’.
MQM-P leader said that state should tell them whether they are allowed to take part in the upcoming general elections or not so that ‘they can adopt some other way’.
MQM-P candidate for a provincial seat Kanwar Naveed Jameel criticised the arrest of ‘dozens of party workers from different areas of Sindh’ and demanded their immediate release.
“There are numbers of party workers who are still missing,” said Jamil.
Earlier, another MQM-P leader, Faisal Sabzwari, had accused district administration of confiscating party banners and flags.
