LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif on Friday said that there are no ‘aliens’ and that the party is not afraid of any.
“Neither are there any aliens, nor are we afraid of any,” Shehbaz said while responding to a question regarding former PM Nawaz Sharif’s statement that PML-N was up against ‘aliens’ or hidden forces during the general elections 2018.
Commenting on NAB’s money laundering allegations against Nawaz and the latter’s response, Shehbaz said that NAB must work according to law and that “we all must work together to ensure a more prosperous Pakistan.”
Shehbaz also reportedly said that party lawmakers were trying their best to diminish differences between the PML-N lifetime head Nawaz and disgruntled leader Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
The Punjab CM also highlighted the PML-N government’s efforts to establish peace and prosperity in the country.
He said that the PML-N government has eliminated terrorism and energy crisis from the country, while he also assured that the PML-N will triumph in the coming elections with an “overwhelming” majority.
