ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah, who is on an official visit to Jordan, Wednesday called on former Jordanian crown prince Hassan Bin Talal. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, including defence and security collaboration were discussed. The naval chief highlighted Pakistan’s commitment to fight against terrorism, and the Pakistan Navy’s efforts for maintaining regional peace and security. He reiterated Pakistan’s continued support to Jordanian Armed Forces. Hassan Bin Talal acknowledged the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Jordan based on strong foundations and historical ties. He lauded Pakistan Navy’s efforts in maritime security in the region and acknowledged the Pakistan Navy’s cooperation in diverse fields to Royal Jordanian Naval Force.
