LAHORE: The second convocation of the Shalamar Nursing College was held at the Shalamar Institute of Health Sciences on Thursday.
Prof Muhammad Aslam Khan of the University of Health Sciences attended the convocation as the chief guest.
According to details, at least 44 degrees and medals were distributed among successful students of 2012- 2016. Punjab Nursing Director Nusrat Saeeda, Nursing Examination Controller Zubaida Sarwer Khan, SMDC Principal Prof Zahid Bashir, Shalamar Nursing College Dean Dr Hadja Po Hadjirul, Allied Health Sciences Principal Riffat Jawaid, Dr Irfan Ali Syed, Asma Naveed and Shalamar Nursing College director also attend the convocation.
In the closing ceremony, Shahid Hussain elucidated the aims and objectives of the Shalamar Nursing College. He said that the college was going to start new nursing programmes next year. He also thanked the Punjab government for its support.
