ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has received documentary evidence against former Sindh education minister Mazharul Haq regarding illegal appointments.
Haq, also known as a philanthropist in Sindh, was alleged of illegal hiring thousands of unemployed youth. Due to this most of the teachers were deprived of their salaries who then moved court.
The Sindh government has already set up a committee to investigate the issue which also termed this act as illegal. NAB has started a probe against the former minister after receiving record from the Sindh government.
Haq’s elder brother is also behind the bars for embezzling millions of rupees while his ex-wife Farzana Raja has also faced corruption charges.
